Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#today).

How to brew#brew
Tea room#tea-room

  • The tasting table: The home page opens with the teas of the day as a row of cups, palest to darkest, each with its origin, water temperature and steeping time.
  • A tea shelf sold by the gram: Tea rows grouped by type, with a liquor swatch, tasting notes, prices per 50 g and 100 g, and an 'Ask about this' link to the request form.
  • A brewing guide that teaches: Five brewing steps and a brewing card with grams, temperature, time and number of steeps for each type of tea.
  • Tea room, tastings and gifts: The sit-in menu, dated tastings and classes on a cobalt band, gift tins and tasting sets, and the gardens the tea comes from.
  • Free Elementor and a ready request form: Built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Tasting and order request' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Teas → Green and white teas, Oolong teas, Black and dark teas, Gift tins and sets
  • Tea room → Tastings and classes (Gongfu session, Cupping morning, Tea and food pairing)
  • About → How we buy tea
  • Tea notes
  • Visit

Header button: Book a tasting (link #tastings), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Tea options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Tea options and the menu scrolls to these sections: On the table, The tea shelf, How to brew, Tea room, Tastings, Where our tea comes from, Gifts, Tea notes, Visit. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Tea onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Tasting and order request on the Visit page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What would you like? (required), Number of people, Preferred day and time, Teas you like, Teas and amounts, or anything we should know. Email subject: “Tasting or order request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We reply by email within one working day, usually sooner when the shop is open.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Willow Lane Tea House
  • Willow Lane
  • Springfield
  • Keep the cups in oxidation order (white, green, light oolong, roasted oolong, black, pu-erh) and give each its real brewing facts.
  • Liquor colours belong to the cups only; amber never carries text on light backgrounds.
  • Do not add health claims for tea.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Tea

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Tea uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does it have an online shop?

No. LT Tea shows your teas with prices and sends customers to a request form, to the counter or to the phone. If you sell online, link the buttons to your shop.

Can I change the teas in the cups?

Yes. Each cup is an Elementor column with the tea name, origin and brewing facts; the liquor colour comes from a class (white, green, light, roast, black, pu-erh) listed in the AI kit's AGENTS.md.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Visit pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Teas and Tea room pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Tea. Is this an update?

It is version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Tea also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Tea Joomla docs.
