Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#searches).

  • This week's searches: The home page opens on a sheet of live searches, each with its stage marked from brief to offer, so candidates see at a glance which jobs are still open.
  • Jobs, sectors and pay: Vacancy rows with place, hours, pay and type of work, sector pages with typical pay, and an "Ask about this job" link on every open role.
  • Pages for employers: How a search runs with typical days, fees and terms set out plainly, temporary staff and answers to employers' questions.
  • Temporary work and candidate help: Weekly pay and timesheet facts, what to bring to registration, and CV and interview advice.
  • Free Elementor and a ready registration form: Every page uses free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with one form for candidate registration and vacancy briefs made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Jobs → Sectors (Office and admin, Warehouse and logistics, Care and support), Temporary work, CV and interview help
  • Employers → How a search runs, Fees and terms
  • About → Our team
  • News
  • Contact

Header button: Register with us (link /contact/#register), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Recruit options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Recruit options and the menu scrolls to these sections: This week's searches, Candidates and employers, Open jobs, Sectors, How a search runs, Temporary work, Fees for employers, News and advice, Our office. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Recruit onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Register for work or brief a vacancy on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone, I am (required), Sector, Type of work, Job title or the role you are hiring for, Anything we should know. Email subject: “New registration or vacancy from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. A consultant will call or email you within two working days. Candidates: we will ask for your CV by email.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Fieldstone Recruitment
  • Springfield
  • sample terms
  • Keep the five stages and their order; mark exactly one stage per row as `is-now`.
  • Use the highlighter colour only as a fill behind dark text, never as text or a line on light backgrounds.
  • Do not present sample jobs, pay or employers as real, and do not promise placements.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Recruit

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Recruit uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Is this a job board with online applications?

No. Jobs are normal Elementor rows that you edit, and every "Ask about this job" link goes to the registration form or your phone number. If you need candidate accounts and CV uploads, add a job board plugin alongside the theme.

How do I update the searches and their stages?

Each stage is a text block with a class: move the highlight by giving the current stage the class is-now and the earlier stages is-done. The AI kit's safe edit tool can do this for you.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Jobs and Employers pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Recruit. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Recruit also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Recruit Joomla docs.
