LT Driving is a theme for driving schools and independent driving instructors, built for Elementor (free): a home page that opens on a learner's progress record (driving skills by five levels, filled as the lessons go), the first lesson step by step, manual and automatic lesson prices, courses drawn against the same skills, instructors and dual-control cars, help for the theory and practical test, the pick-up area and a form to book a first lesson. Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#record).

Section (Navigator name)CSS ID

  • The progress record hero: The home page opens on a learner's record: twelve driving skills by five levels, filled boxes for what is reached, a dashed box for the next lesson and a tick for each skill driven independently.
  • Courses drawn on the same skills: Every course is shown as a strip of the same twelve skill boxes, so a learner sees what a starter block, an intensive week or a refresher works on.
  • Lessons, prices and the five levels: Manual and automatic lesson prices, pick-up hours, and a dark band that explains the five levels and when to book the test, without pass-rate promises.
  • Test help, instructors and the area: Pages for the theory and practical test, the instructors and the dual-control cars, and a drawing of the pick-up area.
  • Free Elementor and a ready booking form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Book a first lesson' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Lessons → Manual lessons, Automatic lessons, Courses (Starter block, Intensive week, Refresher)
  • The test → Theory test, Practical test
  • About → Instructors, Our cars
  • Driving tips
  • Contact

Header button: Book a first lesson (link /contact/#book), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Driving options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Driving options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Welcome, Your first lesson, Lessons and prices, The five levels, Courses, Instructors, The test, Pick-up area, Driving tips, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Driving onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Colours and fonts

Change them in Elementor Site Settings → Global Colors and Global Fonts; the whole site follows.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Book a first lesson on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone, Gearbox (required), Where you are now (required), Best time for lessons, Pick-up area or zip code, Anything we should know. Email subject: “First lesson request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. An instructor will call or email you within one working day to agree a time and a pick-up place.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Fernhill Driving School
  • Fernhill
  • Springfield
  • A. Moreno
  • Never add pass rates, 'pass first time' claims or a number of lessons needed to pass; the record shows skills only.
  • Keep the record's twelve skills in teaching order and the five levels in order; a course strip uses the same twelve boxes in the same order.
  • Use test-ready green only for the ticks at the end of an independent row; never as text. Learner-plate red fills reached boxes and actions only.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

AI kit (Pro Unlimited)

Questions about LT Driving

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Driving uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I change the skills on the record?

Yes. The record is a table in a Text Editor widget: rename the skills, change the levels reached and move the dashed next-lesson box. Keep the course strips in the same order as the record. The AI kit's safe edit tool can do it for you.

Does the theme show pass rates?

No, on purpose. It shows skills, prices and hours. If you publish pass rates, follow the rules of your licensing body and keep them up to date.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Lessons, Courses and Test pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Driving. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Driving also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Driving Joomla docs.
