Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#ride).

Section (Navigator name)CSS ID
Fares by zone#ride
Three ways to book#ways
Taxi services#services
Airport transfers#airport
Our cars#fleet

Our drivers#drivers
Travel news#news
Rank and office#rank
  • Fare zones on the home page: The hero shows your rank with three fare rings drawn around it and a legend of fixed fares per zone, so visitors know the price before they call.
  • Phone first, form second: The 24-hour number sits in the top bar, the hero, the booking steps and the footer; planned trips go through a booking request form the office confirms by text.
  • Airport transfers: Fixed airport fares, a page per airport with a zone strip, the meeting point and how flights are tracked.
  • Services, fleet and fares: Service rows with from-prices, the cars with seats and cases, meter rates outside the zones, extras and ways to pay.
  • Free Elementor and a ready booking form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a taxi booking request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Taxi services → Airport transfers (Springfield Airport, Lakeport Airport, Riverton Airfield), Business accounts, Wheelchair accessible taxis, Long-distance trips
  • Fares
  • About us → Our drivers, Our cars, Lost property
  • Travel news
  • Book a taxi

Header button: Book a taxi (link /book/), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Taxico options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Taxico options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Fares by zone, Three ways to book, Taxi services, Airport transfers, Our cars, How booking works, Our drivers, Travel news, Rank and office. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Taxico onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Taxi booking request on the Book a taxi page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Mobile number (required), Pickup address (required), Destination (required), Pickup date and time (required), Car (required), Notes for the driver. Email subject: “Taxi booking request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Your request is with the office. We text you to confirm the car and the fare; the taxi is booked when you get that text. For a taxi in the next two hours, please call (555) 014-2200.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Station Square Taxis
  • Springfield
  • Lakeport
  • Riverton
  • Do not show fares without the 'Example prices' note until they are your real, licensed fares.
  • Keep roof-light yellow for zones and the one marked cell; never use it for text on light backgrounds.
  • Do not add online payment or live car tracking claims: bookings are confirmed by phone or text.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Taxico

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Taxico uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does the theme take online bookings or payments?

No. It shows your phone number everywhere and includes a booking request form (WPForms Lite); your office confirms each request by text or phone. If you use a dispatch system with its own booking widget, place its link or shortcode in the Book a taxi page.

Can I change the zones and fares?

Yes. The fares are normal Elementor rows you edit as text. The zone map is an image: replace it with a map of your own town, or edit the SVG drawing.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About us and Book a taxi pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, services, fares, airport and fleet pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Taxico. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Taxico also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Taxico Joomla docs.
