The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Curriculum → Lower school, Upper school, Sixth form (A-level subjects, Vocational courses, Joining in Year 12)
  • Admissions → Open events
  • News
  • Contact

Header button: Book a tour (link /contact/#visit), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT School options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT School options and the menu scrolls to these sections: A school week, The school day, Subjects, Stages, Sixth form, Clubs and sport, Visit and apply, News, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT School onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Visit and admissions enquiry on the Contact page. Fields: Parent or carer's name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), Student's first name, Year group in September (required), I would like to (required), Tell me more about, Your question. Email subject: “Visit or admissions enquiry from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. The admissions office will reply by email within two school days.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Hillcrest
  • Springfield
  • Keep the timetable true: five days, the same periods every day, one subject per cell, and only one `is-now` lesson.
  • Use highlighter yellow only behind ink text for the current or next item; never as text colour or for decoration.
  • Do not add exam pass rates, rankings or inspection grades unless the school gives the real figures.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT School

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT School uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I put our own timetable and bell times in?

Yes. Every lesson is a small Elementor container with the subject, initials and room as text, and the subject colours are global colours in Site Settings. Change the texts, or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Does it suit a college or a sixth form only?

Yes. Remove the lower and upper school pages and keep the sixth form branch, the courses lists, open events and the enquiry form.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the curriculum, admissions and sixth-form pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT School. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT School also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT School Joomla docs.
