Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#bar).

  • Tonight's bar, pale to dark: The home page opens with the pub's name and hours and the beers on tap drawn as glasses in their real colours, with tap number, strength, cask or keg and prices.
  • A menu with a beer for every dish: Dish rows with italic descriptions and prices, each naming the tap that suits it with a small glass swatch in that beer's colour.
  • Tap lists and drinks pages: Beer, cask ales, keg beers and alcohol-free pages with half and pint prices, plus wine by the glass and bottle and cider.
  • Sunday roast, events and rooms: Roast sittings and prices, the week's quiz and music nights, the four places to sit and a private hire page.
  • Free Elementor and a booking request form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a table booking request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • The pub → Quiz and music nights, Private hire
  • Food → Sunday roast, Bar snacks
  • Drinks → Beer (Cask ales, Keg beers, Alcohol-free), Wine and cider
  • Noticeboard
  • Book a table

Header button: Book a table (link /contact/#booking), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Beepub options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Beepub options and the menu scrolls to these sections: On the bar, Opening hours, Kitchen, The cellar, Sunday roast, This week, Where to sit, Noticeboard, Find us, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Beepub onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Table booking request on the Book a table page. Fields: Name for the booking (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), Date (required), Time (required), Number of people (required), Where would you like to sit, Anything we should know. Email subject: “Table booking request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We will confirm your table by phone or email, usually within a few hours during opening times.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • The Lamplighter
  • Wharf Street
  • Springfield
  • Keep the tap line in colour order, palest left to darkest right, and give each glass the colour class of its beer (EBC).
  • Use brass only for the cask ring and marks on the dark bands; never for text on pewter.
  • Do not number sections or courses; numbers are tap numbers, prices, strengths and times.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Beepub

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Beepub uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

How do I change the beers on the bar?

Each glass is a normal Elementor block: edit the name, strength and prices, and give it the colour class of the new beer (lt-ebc–6 for the palest to lt-ebc–100 for a stout). The AI kit's safe edit tool can do it from a text file.

Can guests book a table online?

The theme shows a table booking request form (free WPForms Lite). Requests arrive by email and you confirm them by phone or email; there is no booking engine or payment.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, The pub and Book a table pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, Food and Drinks pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Beepub. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Beepub also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Beepub Joomla docs.
