Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#units).

  • Your units on a map: The home page opens on a topographic map of your hunt units, each with its number, terrain, elevation and the hunts that run there.
  • Guided hunts at a glance: Hunt rows show the unit, season, license type, price and a link to ask about dates; sub-pages for each hunt and weapon.
  • Licenses and the draw: Step-by-step license help, key dates and a draw table by unit and hunt code, plus hunter education.
  • Safety, camp and guides: A safety band with blaze orange rules, camp facts, the hunt day by the clock and your guides.
  • Free Elementor and a ready enquiry form: Every page uses free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a hunt enquiry form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Hunts → Elk hunts (Archery elk, Rifle elk), Deer and pronghorn, Upland birds, Learn to hunt
  • Licenses → Safety on the hunt
  • Outfitter → Guides, Camp and horses
  • Field notes
  • Book a hunt

Header button: Ask about a hunt (link #book), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Hunting options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Hunting options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Hunt units, Guided hunts, A hunt day, Licenses, Safety, Camp and horses, Questions, Field notes, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Hunting onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Hunt enquiry on the Book a hunt page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), Hunt (required), Hunters in your party (required), Hunting so far (required), License, Dates and anything we should know. Email subject: “Hunt enquiry from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We will reply by email within two working days with open dates and the license steps for your hunt.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Cedar Fork
  • Halvorsen
  • Springfield
  • Do not show dead animals or use trophy or kill-count language; show guided trips, camp, land and safety.
  • Keep blaze orange for safety marks (camp marker, orange-required chip, safety rule); never orange text on light backgrounds.
  • Unit numbers are real game management units: change them to the owner's own units, never use them as section numbers.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Hunting

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Hunting uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I show my own units and hunts?

Yes. Unit numbers, names, elevations and hunt rows are normal Elementor text: edit them in Elementor or with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Does the demo show hunting kills?

No. The demo shows guided trips, camp, horses, live wildlife and safety. Your own photos are up to you.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, The outfitter and Book a hunt pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the hunts and licenses pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Hunting. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Hunting also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Hunting Joomla docs.
