LTHEME WooCommerce themes are block themes for WordPress and WooCommerce: you edit every page, template and colour in the Site Editor, and the shop, product, cart, checkout and account pages use WooCommerce’s own blocks. No page builder or shortcodes. Each theme is designed for one kind of shop (digital downloads, large catalogue & b2b, motion product video, one-product showcase, print on demand (pod), purpose store, subscription boxes) and has one complete demo store. These guides work for all of them; each theme’s own page adds its demo, sections, colour styles and notes.

- The free WooCommerce plugin, version 10.0 or newer.

- No other plugin is needed for the design. Some store types need a plugin for one feature (recurring payments, trade prices, personalisation): each theme’s page says so.

Install the theme
- Free: click Free download on the theme’s page on ltheme.com. You get a .zip file.
- Pro Standard and Pro Unlimited: after paying, download the .zip from your account. The licence key is in your order email.
- Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme and click Upload Theme.
- Choose the theme’s .zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
- The theme shows a welcome notice with its next steps.
Do not unzip the file. WordPress installs the .zip as it is. On a site that is already live, try the theme on a staging copy first.
Install WooCommerce
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for WooCommerce, click Install Now and Activate.
- Follow WooCommerce’s set-up steps (your store’s address, currency and what you sell), or skip them and come back later.
- WooCommerce creates the Shop, Cart, Checkout and My account pages; the theme styles them with its own templates.
- Set up payments, shipping and taxes in WooCommerce → Settings before you take real orders.
Install WooCommerce before the demo import: the Import button stays disabled until WooCommerce is active.
Demo import (Pro)
Pro Standard and Pro Unlimited include the theme’s complete demo store. To import it:
- Make sure WooCommerce is active.
- Go to Appearance → Demo import. The demo card shows how many products, categories and pages it adds.
- Leave Switch to this demo’s style and Use its Home page as the front page ticked (or untick them), then click Import.
- When it finishes, the screen lists what was created. Open the site to see it.
- The import adds the product categories, the sample products (with their options, prices and sale prices), the pages, the main menu and the site title, tagline and announcement bar text.
- Nothing you already have is changed: a product, category or page whose address is already taken is skipped. You can run the import again safely.
- The demo’s pictures are the theme’s own illustrations and placeholders. The live demo shows Pexels photos, which are not part of the theme: add your own product photos.
- The licence key is not needed for the import; it is for updates and ticket support.
Every product, price, spec, review, address and opening time in the demo is a sample. Replace them before you go live (see Going live below).
Licence and updates
- Go to Appearance → Licence.
- Paste the key from your order email or your account and click Activate licence.
- When a new version is out it appears in Dashboard → Updates. Click Update now. Your pages, products and Site Editor changes are kept.
Updates come from the LTHEME Store on ltheme.com. Without a key, or after Pro Standard’s year of updates, the theme keeps working; only updates and ticket support need an active licence. The Licence screen shows the key’s status (for example Active or Updates ended); you can always download the latest .zip from your account. Free: download the new version from the theme’s page and upload it over the old one (Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme → Replace active with uploaded).
Colour styles and fonts
- Go to Appearance → Editor and open Styles.
- Pick one of the theme’s three colour styles (each theme’s page lists them). The whole site follows, including the WooCommerce pages.
- To use your own colours, open Colors → Palette and change the theme colours. Keep enough contrast between text and background.
- Fonts are in Typography. The theme’s fonts are bundled with it (no Google Fonts requests).
Your logo, menu, header, footer and the announcement bar are in the Site Editor too (Appearance → Editor → Patterns → Template parts, or click them on the page). Add a section with the block inserter: Patterns lists the theme’s shop sections and full pages.
AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
Pro Unlimited adds files that let AI assistants work on the store without breaking the design:
AGENTS.md,CLAUDE.mdand.cursorrules: how the theme is built, the rules to follow and the sample content to replace.ai/prompts.md: ready prompts (set up the store for your brand, rebrand the colours and fonts, add products, write pages) and the Agent Skill inai/skills/.- WordPress Abilities for agents connected to your site:
<theme>/list-demos,<theme>/import-demo,<theme>/set-styleand<theme>/create-landing-page(for examplelt-axle/set-style). tools/check-theme.py: a checker that finds broken markup, contrast problems and sample content left on the site.
Tools that open your files (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex): open the theme folder first. Chat tools: paste AGENTS.md first, then the prompt. Always check the result before you publish it.
Going live
- Replace every sample product, price, spec, review, address, phone number, opening time and delivery or returns promise with your own, and delete what you do not sell. Labels such as “Example prices” and “sample” mark them.
- Change the site title, logo, menu, announcement bar and footer.
- Set up payments, shipping and taxes in WooCommerce → Settings, and add your privacy, terms and refund pages.
- Place a test order (WooCommerce’s test payment mode, or a small real order you refund) and check the emails.
- Make the store visible: WooCommerce → Settings → Site visibility → Live.
- Pro Unlimited: open a terminal in the theme folder (
wp-content/themes/<theme>/) and runpython3 tools/check-theme.py --launch. It fails while sample content is left; fix what it lists.
Only publish facts that are true for your shop: real prices, stock, delivery times, reviews you have permission to use and any certifications.
Theme docs
Each theme has its own page: its live demo, what the demo import adds, its store-type page, section patterns, colour styles, fonts, notes for its store type and FAQ. Grouped by store type:
Digital downloads
Large catalogue & B2B
Motion product video
One-product showcase
Print on demand (POD)
Purpose store
Subscription boxes
Nothing matches. Try the name without “LT”, or a business type such as “restaurant”.
