Store-type notes: Digital downloads
- The demo products are virtual and downloadable (no shipping), with sample download limits and expiry. The demo has no download files: for each product, add your own file in Product data → Downloadable files before you sell it.
- Customers find their files on the order confirmation page, in the order email and in My account → Downloads.
- The licence comparison in the demo shows sample terms: write your own licence (it is not legal advice).
AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
With Pro Unlimited, an AI assistant can read the theme's rules and rebrand Bobbin, write pattern descriptions with sizes, formats, fabric amounts and licences, and update the size chart and licence table without breaking the blocks. On a live site it can also import the demo, switch styles and draft landing pages through WordPress Abilities.
Example prompt: Set up this LT Bobbin store for my pattern shop "Fern & Thimble Patterns" (sample). Patterns: Harbour Wrap Dress (sizes 1–12, confident beginner), Cove Camp Shirt (sizes 1–12, intermediate) and Dune Trousers (sizes 1–12, beginner). Licences: Personal $14, Small-batch selling $30. Email: [email protected]. Use the Madder style with my brand colour #7A3E2B, rewrite the homepage, the size chart and the licence table, and mark anything I have not confirmed as sample.
See AI kit for the files, the prompts and the Abilities.
Before you go live
Everything in the demo is sample content: products, prices, specs, reviews, addresses and opening times. Replace it with your own, or delete it, and follow the going-live checklist. Pro Unlimited: python3 tools/check-theme.py --launch in the theme folder lists every sample left.

Questions about LT Bobbin
Does LT Bobbin handle downloadable products?
Yes. The demo products are virtual and downloadable WooCommerce products. You attach your own pattern PDFs in Product data → Downloadable files, and WooCommerce sends the download links after checkout.
Can I offer print-at-home, copy shop and projector files?
Yes. Attach all three files to the same product, as the demo descriptions do, or make a variable product if you want to sell formats separately. The format chips section explains each format to buyers.
Can I sell a personal and a selling licence at different prices?
Yes. Make a pattern a variable product with a Licence attribute (for example Personal and Small-batch selling) and give each variation its own price. The demo also shows a Size range attribute.
Where do I put my size chart and fabric amounts?
The size chart and fabric requirement sections are core Table blocks with sample figures. Edit the rows in the block editor; each product description also has Sizes and Fabric headings.
Can I use my own line drawings?
Yes. The line drawings are images with the Line drawing style. Upload your own flats and the envelope cards and the hero keep the tracing-paper look.
Is the skill level filter interactive?
It is a static guide: three levels with techniques and links to the patterns to start with. It needs no plugin or script, and you edit it in the block editor.
