Home page sections
The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#blend).
| Section (Navigator name) | CSS ID |
|---|---|
| This week's blend | #blend |
| Collections | #collections |
| Featured this week | #featured |
| House blends | #blends |
| Bring your own jar | #refill |
| Where it comes from | #growers |
| Blending workshop | #workshop |
| Kitchen notes | #notes |
| Visit | #visit |
- The blend card: The home page opens with this week's house blend drawn as one band split by parts by weight, in the colours of the spices, with batch number and grinding date.
- A catalogue without a checkout: Collections, featured items and price rows per weight, each with an 'Ask about this' link to the order form. No shop plugin to set up or maintain.
- House blends side by side: Every blend gets its band and its key of spices, parts and grams, so customers compare blends at a glance and see what is inside.
- Organic pantry and refill: Grains, pulses, oils and dried fruit as price rows, the three refill steps for bringing your own jars, and a growers and origins list.
- Free Elementor and a ready order form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with an order and enquiry form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.
Menu
The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):
- Home
- Spices → Single spices, House blends (Garam masala, Ras el hanout, Berbere)
- Pantry → Grains and pulses, Oils and vinegars, Dried fruit and nuts
- Our shop → Growers and sourcing, Refill and zero waste
- Kitchen notes
- Visit
Header button: Ask about an order (link /visit/#order), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Taspice options.
One-page mode (Pro)
With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Taspice options and the menu scrolls to these sections: This week's blend, Collections, Featured this week, House blends, Bring your own jar, Where it comes from, Blending workshop, Kitchen notes, Visit. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.
Used the old LT Taspice onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form
With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Order and enquiry on the Visit page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What can we help with? (required), Items and weights, Collect or deliver, When would you like it?, Containers. Email subject: “Order or enquiry from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We reply by email within one working day and tell you when your order is ready to collect.”
See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.
Demo content to replace
Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):
(sample)Example pricesexample.com(555)Mace & MilletMace & MilletGranary RowSpringfield
- Keep the segments of a band adding up to 100 g (lt-g classes in steps of 5) and the key's grams equal to them; use spice colours only for spices.
- Use the curry-leaf organic mark only for certified organic items; never use it as a decoration or a heading colour.
- Do not add health or medical claims for spices or food; keep 'Example prices' with every price.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Selling online
LT Taspice shows products as catalogue pages with example prices and enquiry links; there is no cart. See Selling online for adding WooCommerce.
AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
The AI kit’s AGENTS.md tells an assistant how LT Taspice is built. The CSS classes it relies on (keep them when you edit):
| CSS class | What it is |
|---|---|
lt-hero | home hero (headline, hours and the blend card) |
lt-blend | a blend card: name, batch line, lt-band, lt-key, price; lt-blend–hero for the large one in the hero |
lt-band | the blend band (Text Editor): one lt-seg span per spice, sized lt-g5 to lt-g40 (grams in a 100 g jar, steps of 5) and coloured lt-sp–<spice> |
lt-key | the list under a band: swatch (lt-sw lt-sp–<spice>), spice, parts, grams |
lt-sp--turmeric | spice colours (turmeric, paprika, chilli, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, clove, pepper, cardamom, fennel, ginger, nutmeg, fenugreek, allspice, sumac) |
lt-collection | one collection tile (photo, name, price from, link) |
lt-item | one featured item row: name and origin, organic mark, sizes, Example price, Ask about this |
lt-organic | the curry-leaf organic mark inside a line of text |
lt-steps | numbered steps (a real sequence: how refill works); each lt-step |
lt-origin | one origin row (spice, grower, region, harvest) |
lt-price | label + value row (prices per weight, opening hours) |
lt-pagehead | inner page heading band |
lt-desk | contact desk block |

Questions about LT Taspice
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Taspice uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
Can I sell online with it?
The theme is a catalogue: products, prices and an order form that sends you the request. It does not include a cart or payments, so customers collect or you arrange delivery.
How do I change a blend band?
Each segment is a span with a spice colour class and a grams class (lt-g5 to lt-g40). Edit them in the Text Editor widget, or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.
Will my site look like the demo?
Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free has the design, header and footer, the Our shop and Visit pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Spices and Pantry pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
I have the old LT Taspice. Is this an update?
It is a new version 2.0 with a new design for organic food and spice shops, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
Also for Joomla
LT Taspice also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Taspice Joomla docs.
