LT Gravity is a theme for small planetariums and astronomy clubs, built with free Elementor: a home page that opens with the month drawn as a moon calendar (every night with the Moon in its phase, club nights ringed), this week's dome shows, the three kinds of club night and the Moon phase that sets each one, what you can see through the club telescopes, the dark-sky field, membership with example prices, first-night questions, sky notes and directions. Inner pages cover the shows and tickets, school and group visits, observing nights, telescope loans and membership, and visits are requested with a ready booking form. A Hello Elementor child theme with bundled fonts, one-page mode and a mobile menu.

  • The moon calendar: The home page opens with the month drawn as Moon phases, one cell per night, club nights ringed in red light, so visitors see at once when to come out.
  • Club nights set by the Moon: Dark-sky, moon and planet nights each shown with the Moon that sets them, plus their own pages with where, when and what to bring.
  • Dome shows and tickets: This week's shows on a night board with the next one ringed, the shows on now, ticket prices and school and group visits.
  • Telescopes and the sky: What you can see through the club telescopes with best months and magnitudes, the dark-sky field and telescope loans.
  • Free Elementor and a booking form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a booking and club request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Shows → Show times and tickets, School and group visits
  • Observing → Club nights (Dark-sky nights, Moon nights, Planet nights), Telescope loans
  • The club → Membership
  • Sky notes
  • Visit and join

Header button: Book a show (link /contact/#booking), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Gravity options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Gravity options and the menu scrolls to these sections: This month, Under the dome, Club nights, What you can see, The dark-sky field, Join the club, First night, Sky notes, Visit. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Gravity onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Booking and club request on the Visit and join page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), What is it about? (required), Show or night, and date, Number of people (required), Have you been to the dome or a club night before?, Anything we should know. Email subject: “Booking or club request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We reply by email within two days with seats or details (sample). Nothing is booked until we confirm.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Hollow Hill
  • Cutler Ridge
  • Springfield
  • Keep the Moon true: when you change the month, set each night's phase class from a moon phase table, and put club nights where the Moon allows (dark-sky nights near new moon).
  • Do not ring a night in the calendar unless something happens that night; the ring always means a club night.
  • Use red light (accent) only on the night panels and bands; on daylight sections use red torch (primary).

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Gravity

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Gravity uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

How do I change the month in the moon calendar?

Each night is a small Elementor container with the date as text and the Moon phase as a CSS class (new, wxc, fq, wxg, full, wng, lq, wnc). Look the phases up in any moon phase table, set the classes, and add or move the ringed club nights.

Does it sell tickets online?

It sends booking requests through a WPForms Lite form, and you confirm each booking by email or phone. There is no online payment built in.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, The club and Visit and join pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Shows and Observing pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Gravity. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Gravity also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Gravity Joomla docs.
