- Jobs, sectors and part-time work: The full board, sector pages with typical pay, part-time and weekend jobs and apprenticeships, each ad with an "Ask about this job" link.
- Pages for employers: Posting prices drawn as tabs per opening, house rules for every ad, a part-by-part guide to writing a job ad and answers to employers' questions.
- A job desk and job advice: Opening times and help at a drop-in job desk, and advice posts on reading pay, short CVs and calling about a job.
- Free Elementor and a ready form: Every page uses free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with one form for asking about a job or posting one, made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.
Menu
The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):
- Home
- Jobs → Jobs by sector (Retail and hospitality, Health and care, Trades and building), Part-time and weekend, Apprenticeships
- Employers → Prices for employers, Writing a job ad
- About → The job desk
- Advice
- Contact
Header button: Post a job (link /contact/#ask), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Jobboard options.
One-page mode (Pro)
With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Jobboard options and the menu scrolls to these sections: On the board this week, How to ask about a job, New this week, Jobs by sector, Post a job, House rules, Job advice, The job desk, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.
Used the old LT Jobboard onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form
With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Ask about a job or post one on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), I want to (required), Job reference, Sector, Your message. Email subject: “Job question or new ad from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Job seekers: we pass your message to the employer and you hear back within three working days. Employers: we check your ad and put it up within one working day.”
See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.
Demo content to replace
Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):
(sample)Example pricesexample.com(555)Fourways JobsSpringfieldJB-20
- Keep one tab per opening on every ad; only one tab can be `is-last`, and only when exactly one opening is left.
- Use the coral colour only for the last-opening tab or marks on the felt, never as text or a line on light backgrounds.
- Do not present sample employers, jobs or pay as real, and do not add an apply button that pretends to send an application: asking goes to the form or the phone.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
The AI kit’s AGENTS.md tells an assistant how LT Jobboard is built. The CSS classes it relies on (keep them when you edit):
| CSS class | What it is |
|---|---|
lt-hero | home hero band on the felt (headline + the board) |
lt-board | a noticeboard of ads; the ads sit in lt-board__ads, the key below in lt-board__key |
lt-notice | one paper job ad: title, employer, place and hours, pay line, closing date, then the tab fringe |
lt-fringe | the tear-off tabs along the bottom of an ad: one lt-tab per opening |
lt-tab | one tab with the ad's reference; add is-torn (filled, dashed) or is-last (the last opening left, coral) |
lt-ad | one job row (title and employer, place and hours, pay, small fringe and the ask link) |
lt-steps | the four steps for asking about a job (lt-step), a real sequence |
lt-sector | one sector row (name, typical jobs, ads on the board, link) |
lt-package | one employer price: openings drawn as a fringe, price, what is included |
lt-rule-row | one house rule (title + text) in an lt-rows list |
lt-price | fact or price row (label + amount) |
lt-panel | side panel with a petrol top rule |
lt-anatomy | an ad with notes on each part (Writing a job ad page) |
lt-pagehead | inner page heading band |
lt-desk | contact desk block |
lt-person | team member (name + role) |
See AI kit for the prompts, the safe edit tool and the launch checker.
Questions about LT Jobboard
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Jobboard uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
Does it include job board software?
No. The ads are normal Elementor sections that you edit, and every "Ask about this job" link goes to the contact form or your phone number. If you need employer accounts, online payments or CV uploads, add a job board plugin alongside the theme.
How do I show that an opening is filled?
Each tab is a text block with a class: give a tab the class is-torn and change its text to Filled. When one opening is left, give that tab is-last and it turns coral. The AI kit's safe edit tool can do this for you.
Will my site look like the demo?
Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Jobs and Employers pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
I have the old LT Jobboard. Is this an update?
It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
Also for Joomla
LT Jobboard also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Jobboard Joomla docs.
