Home page sections
The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#order).
| Section (Navigator name) | CSS ID |
|---|---|
| Order | #order |
| Kitchen hours | #hours |
| Menu | #menu |
| Today's specials | #specials |
| How ordering works | #how |
| Delivery | #delivery |

- Eat in, collect or delivered: The home page opens on the pass: three kitchen tickets on a rail show eat in, collection and delivery with their times, minimums and last orders.
- A menu people can read: Dish rows with short notes and prices for small plates, large plates, sides, desserts and drinks, plus today's specials on a ticket.
- Honest ordering: Ordering by phone or with a request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin; the theme never pretends to take payment online.
- Delivery zones and ready times: Zones by distance with fees and times, a street map with the delivery rings, ready times and takeaway questions.
- Set menus, allergens and private dining: Sunday lunch, group and early dinner menus, an allergen guide, the team, suppliers and the back room for groups.
Menu
The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):
- Home
- Menu → Lunch, Dinner, Set menus (Sunday lunch, Group feast, Early dinner), Allergens
- Takeaway → Delivery area
- Our kitchen → The team, Suppliers
- Kitchen notes
- Contact
Header button: Order or book (link #order), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Restaurant options.
One-page mode (Pro)
With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Restaurant options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Order, Kitchen hours, Menu, Today's specials, How ordering works, Delivery, Book a table, Who cooks, Kitchen notes, Find us. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.
Used the old LT Restaurant onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form
With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Order or table request on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone number (required), What would you like? (required), Day and time (required), Guests (for a table), Your order or notes. Email subject: “Order or table request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We will call or email you to confirm the time before we start cooking. Nothing is charged online.”
See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.
Demo content to replace
Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):
(sample)Example pricesexample.com(555)Alder Street KitchenAlder StreetSpringfield
- Tickets carry orders and services only (eat in, collection, delivery, specials, set menus); never use them as decorative cards.
- Do not add buttons that suggest online payment or instant ordering: orders go through the phone number or the request form.
- Keep heat lamp amber for marks on the dark pass; it never carries text on light backgrounds.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Questions about LT Restaurant
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Restaurant uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
Does the theme take online orders and payments?
No. Orders come in by phone or through the order and table request form (free WPForms Lite), and customers pay when they collect or at the door. If you later add an ordering service, link the buttons to it.
Can I change the menu and prices myself?
Yes. Every dish is a normal Elementor row with a heading, a short note and a price. Edit it in Elementor, or let an AI assistant do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.
Will my site look like the demo?
Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free has the design, header and footer, the Our kitchen and Contact pages with the request form, and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the menu, takeaway, set menu and allergen pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
I have the old LT Restaurant. Is this an update?
It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
Also for Joomla
LT Restaurant also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Restaurant Joomla docs.
