Home page sections
The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#start).
| Section (Navigator name) | CSS ID |
|---|---|
| Releases | #start |
| Product | #product |
| Who uses it | #teams |

| Pricing | #pricing |

- The release graph: The home page opens on the product's history as a commit graph: every release with its version tag, feature branches that forked and merged, and today ringed.
- An open roadmap: What is being built and what is only being explored, drawn as open branches off the main line, on the home page and its own page.
- Product, pricing and changelog: The product's jobs with the release each shipped in, a first-day setup strip, per-person pricing and a full changelog page.
- Company, careers and investors: A company page with how the team builds, open roles with salary ranges, a hiring process, funding facts and a press kit request.
- Free Elementor and a ready demo form: Every page uses free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a demo request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.
Menu
The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):
- Home
- Product → Features (Shift scheduling, Timesheets, Shift swaps), Pricing, Changelog, Roadmap
- Company → Careers, Investors and press
- Updates
- Contact
Header button: Book a demo (link /contact/#demo), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Start Up options.
One-page mode (Pro)
With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Start Up options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Releases, Product, Who uses it, First day, Pricing, Roadmap, Company, Updates, Questions, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.
Used the old LT Start Up onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form
With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Book a 20-minute demo on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Work email (required), Company or team (required), People on the rota, How you plan shifts today, How you would like the demo, Phone, What should the demo cover?. Email subject: “Demo request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Someone from the team will email you within one working day with two times for the demo.”
See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.
Demo content to replace
Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):
(sample)Example pricesExample rangesexample.com(555)FerrowSpringfieldNorthgatesample terms
- Keep the graph honest: newest release at the top, one main line, a branch only forks off and merges into main, and only one node carries is-now.
- Line style is information: solid branch = being built, dashed (b-dash) = being explored. Do not use dashes or the cyan ring as decoration.
- Do not present sample customers, numbers, funding or prices as real, and do not add customer logos or awards you do not have.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.
Photo guide
The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
The AI kit’s AGENTS.md tells an assistant how LT Start Up is built. The CSS classes it relies on (keep them when you edit):
| CSS class | What it is |
|---|---|
lt-hero | home hero band (headline + the release graph) |
lt-graph | a release graph: rows lt-commit from newest (top) to oldest, and a key lt-graph__key |
lt-commit | one row of the graph: the lane drawing (lt-lane) and the body (tag, date, title, note) |
lt-lane | the drawing of one graph row. Main line: m-top (above the node), m-bot (below). Branch lane: b-top, b-bot, b-dash (dashed = exploring). Node: is-tag (release), is-commit, is-open (hollow), is-now (cyan today ring), on-b (node on the branch lane). Curves: fork-out (branch leaves main upwards), merge-in (branch joins main from below), stub (a roadmap branch off main) |
lt-tag | a version tag chip (lt-tag–branch for a branch name) |
lt-when | the date or state next to a tag |
lt-steps | a short branch drawn left to right: steps lt-step, the last one is-live merges into main |
lt-job | one product job row (name, what it does, the release it shipped in) |
lt-team | one kind of team that uses the product (photo, text, what they use most) |
lt-price | price or fact row (label + amount) |
lt-panel | side panel with a rust top rule |
lt-role | one open role row (title, team, place, range, link) |
lt-pagehead | inner page heading band |
lt-desk | contact desk block |
lt-person | team member (name + role) |
See AI kit for the prompts, the safe edit tool and the launch checker.
Questions about LT Start Up
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Start Up uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
How do I add a release to the graph?
Duplicate the newest release row in Elementor and change its tag, date and title. The lane drawing is set with classes on its text block (for example m-bot is-tag is-now for the newest release); move is-now to the new row and give the old one m-top m-bot.
Is it only for software startups?
It suits any young company that ships a product in versions: apps, hardware, online services or a small studio with one product. The graph, pricing and roles are normal Elementor rows you edit.
Will my site look like the demo?
Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free has the design, header and footer, the Company and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Product pages with features, pricing, changelog and roadmap, careers and investor pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
I have the old LT Start Up. Is this an update?
It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
Also for Joomla
LT Start Up also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Start Up Joomla docs.
