Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#rack).

Section (Navigator name)CSS ID
This week#rack
Shop price or bar price#how
Wine list#list
The bar#bar
Bin ends#bin-ends
Tastings#tastings
Mixed cases#cases
Shop notes#notes
Visit#visit
  • The bin rack: The home page opens with a rack of nine numbered bins: each shows its slate tag, one circle per bottle in stock, the wine and its price, and a red dot on bin ends.
  • A wine list ordered by bin: Wine rows grouped by shelf, each with its bin number, grape and region, a tasting note, the take-home price, the at-the-bar price and an 'Ask about this' link.
  • Shop and bar on one site: Corkage explained in three steps, the by-the-glass list with the bin each glass is poured from, small plates and separate opening hours for the shop and the bar.
  • Bin ends, mixed cases and tastings: Last bottles at a lower price, case offers and a case club, and dated tastings, winemaker evenings and private tastings.
  • Free Elementor and a ready request form: Built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with an 'Order and booking request' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Wines → Bin ends, Mixed cases
  • The bar → By the glass, Tastings and events (Thursday tasting, Meet the winemaker, Private tastings)
  • About → How we choose wine
  • Shop notes
  • Visit

Header button: Book a table (link #bar), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Wine Shop options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Wine Shop options and the menu scrolls to these sections: This week, Shop price or bar price, Wine list, The bar, Bin ends, Tastings, Mixed cases, Shop notes, Visit. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Wine Shop onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Order and booking request on the Visit page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What would you like? (required), Number of people or bottles, Preferred day and time, Wines you like, Bin numbers, wines or anything we should know. Email subject: “Order or booking request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We reply by email within one working day, usually the same evening when the shop is open.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Calloway Wines
  • Calloway
  • Market Row
  • Springfield
  • Keep one circle per bottle in a bin (twelve at most) and the red dot only on bins with three bottles or fewer.
  • Bin numbers identify wines (first digit = shelf); never use them as section numbers. Red never carries text on the slate band.
  • Do not add scores, awards or health claims for wine; keep the over-21 note.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Wine Shop

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Wine Shop uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does it have an online shop?

No. LT Wine Shop shows your wines with prices and sends customers to a request form, to the till or to the phone. If you sell online, link the buttons to your shop.

How do I change the bottles in a bin?

Each bin is an Elementor column: edit the bin number, the wine and the price, and add or remove circles in the Text Editor (one per bottle). Add the class is-end to show the red bin-end dot; the AI kit's AGENTS.md lists every class.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Visit pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Wines and Bar pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Wine Shop. Is this an update?

It is version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Wine Shop also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Wine Shop Joomla docs.
