Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#tour).

  • Tours as route lines: Each tour is drawn as a line of stops with the arrival day and the nights in each town, so travellers see the pace of a tour at a glance.
  • Departures with places left: A departures table with dates, nights, prices and a status for each date: confirmed, places left or waiting list.
  • Day-by-day tour pages: Tour pages with the route line, the facts, a day-by-day itinerary and dates and prices, in a Tours, region, tour menu branch.
  • Booking steps and what is included: A clear four-step booking explanation and included and not-included rows, so there are fewer questions before people enquire.
  • Free Elementor and a ready enquiry form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a trip enquiry form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Tours → Europe (Portugal coast, Scottish Highlands, Dolomites walking), Departures and prices, Private and group trips
  • About us → Our guides, Travelling responsibly
  • Travel notes
  • Plan a trip → Before you travel

Header button: Ask about a tour (link /contact/#enquiry), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Travel options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Travel options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Featured tour, Departures, Tours, How booking works, Small groups, What is included, Traveller notes, Travel notes, Our office, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Travel onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Change them in Elementor Site Settings → Global Colors and Global Fonts; the whole site follows.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Trip enquiry on the Plan a trip page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), Which tour (required), When would you like to travel, Number of travellers (required), Rooms, Anything we should know. Email subject: “Trip enquiry from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. One of our travel planners will reply by email within one working day, with dates, places and the full itinerary.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Holloway Tours
  • Station Square
  • Springfield
  • Sample traveller
  • Use the route line only for real trips; the nights of the stops must add up to the nights of the tour.
  • Keep guide-flag yellow for marks on the night-ferry band; never use it for text on light backgrounds.
  • Do not add a booking or payment flow: the enquiry form or a phone call books a tour.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Travel

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Travel uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I take bookings and payments online?

The theme does not include a booking system. Travellers send a trip enquiry with the form or call you; you confirm places and payment yourself, as most small tour operators do.

How do I change a route line for my own tours?

Each stop is an Elementor container with the town, the arrival day and the nights. Edit the texts and set the class lt-n1 to lt-n5 for the nights; the line length and ticks follow.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About us and Plan a trip pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Tours pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Travel. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Travel also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Travel Joomla docs.
