Quick setup

Install the free Elementor plugin and the Hello Elementor theme, then upload and activate LT Resume (Install and update).
Optional: activate WPForms Lite for the ask about a role form.
Pro: Appearance → Demo import → Import (Demo import). Free: Appearance → Starter setup.
Replace the demo content and pictures (below), set your logo and the header button.

The specification, answered: The home page opens with the criteria for the role you want, each answered with evidence and an honest mark: done, smaller scale or learning now.
Experience keyed to the criteria: Every result in your roles carries the letter of the criterion it proves, so a panel can check it against their own list.
Projects as short cases: Project rows and case pages with what was wrong, what you did step by step and the result in numbers.
Skills without percentage bars: Skill groups with the same three marks and one line of evidence each, plus education, references and availability.
Free Elementor and a recruiter form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with an 'Ask about a role' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Resume options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Profile, At a glance, Experience, Projects, Skills, Education, References, Notes, Contact. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Resume onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Ask about a role on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Work email (required), Company or agency (required), Role title, Kind of role, What you need from me (required), Person specification or job advert. Email subject: “Role enquiry from the CV site”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. I will reply within two working days, with your criteria answered one by one if you sent them.”

Letters A to F are keys to the criteria: never use them as section numbers or decoration, and keep the same letter for the same criterion on every page.
Keep the marks honest: filled = done at this scale, half = smaller scale, hollow = learning now; always keep the key under a sheet.
Signal coral is for the availability dot and marks on the teal band only; never set text in it.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Resume

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Resume uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does it only suit warehouse managers?

No. The demo is an operations manager, but the sheet, roles, cases and skills are normal Elementor rows: write your own criteria for any job, from nursing to software.

Can I offer my CV as a PDF?

Yes. Upload the PDF to the Media Library and point the 'Ask for my CV' buttons at it, or keep them on the contact form so you know who asked.

Does it work as a one-page site?

Yes. Turn on one-page mode in the Customizer and the menu scrolls to the home page sections; every edition includes it.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, Experience and Projects with their sub-pages, sample notes, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Resume. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
