Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#diary).

  • Your availability, as a diary: The home page opens with the next eight weeks: booked days in ink, held days in pencil, free days blank and the next free run ringed.
  • Work in days and from prices: Each kind of job you take on shows its usual length as a run of day cells, what the client gets and a from price.
  • Rates, holds and terms: Day rate rows, what every quote includes, how first and second holds work by example, and payment terms in plain words.
  • Recent work and booking steps: Recent jobs with the days they took, the five booking steps and a day-by-day plan of a typical job.
  • Free Elementor and a hold request form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Hold dates or ask for a quote' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • About → How I work
  • Work I take on → Explainer films (Product explainers, Public information films, Training films), Brand motion, Storyboards and animatics
  • Rates and availability → How holds work, Payment and terms
  • Studio notes
  • Contact

Header button: Hold dates (link /contact/#hold), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Profile options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Profile options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Availability, Work I take on, Recent work, Rates, How booking works, About, Questions, Studio notes, Contact. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Profile onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Hold dates or ask for a quote on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Organisation (optional), Kind of work (required), Do you want to hold dates? (required), Dates you have in mind, Budget, About the project. Email subject: “Hold or quote request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. I reply within one working day with the days, the price and the dates I can hold for you.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Mara Lindgren
  • Springfield
  • Keep the diary meanings fixed: ink = booked, pencil 1 or 2 = held, blank = free, green ring = the next free run. Update the diary every week or remove it.
  • Use green pencil only for free days and the free dot, never for text.
  • Do not add star ratings, client logos or percentage skill bars.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Profile

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Profile uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

How do I update the diary?

Each week is a normal Elementor row. Change the date and the day cells in the text editor (each cell is a short span with a class for booked, held or free), or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Does it only suit motion designers?

No. The demo is a motion designer, but any freelancer who sells days can use it: photographers, developers, translators, sound recordists, consultants.

Does it work as a one-page site?

Yes. Turn on one-page mode in the Customizer and the menu scrolls to the home page sections; every edition includes it.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page with the diary, Work I take on and Rates and availability with their sub-pages, sample notes, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Profile. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Profile also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Profile Joomla docs.
