LT Portfolio is a product designer's portfolio theme for Elementor (free): a home page that opens with a product's model line-up drawn to scale on a cutting mat, from the first card mock-up to the factory sample, case studies with their own line-ups, a legend of what each kind of model answers, services with example prices, the steps of a project, the workshop and a project enquiry form. Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#lineup).

  • A product's line-up as the hero: The home page opens with every model of one product drawn to scale on a cutting mat, card mock-up to factory sample, each tagged with what it tested.
  • Case studies with their own line-ups: Each project page shows the brief, its line-up and what each model changed, so clients see how you work, not just the final render.
  • A legend clients understand: Card, foam, print, works-like rig, looks-like model and factory sample: what each one answers and how long it takes.
  • Services, prices and the steps of a project: Concept, prototyping priced per model and design for manufacture, with example prices and the seven steps from brief to sample.
  • Free Elementor and a ready enquiry form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a project enquiry form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Work → Pour kettle, Tail bike light, Fern desk lamp
  • Services → Prototyping (Foam models, 3D printed models, Works-like rigs), Design for manufacture
  • About → Workshop, Experience
  • Notebook
  • Contact

Header button: Start a project (link /contact/), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Portfolio options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Portfolio options and the menu scrolls to these sections: The line-up, Work, What each model answers, Services, How a project runs, Workshop, Client words, Notebook, Start a project. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Portfolio onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Project enquiry on the Start a project page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Company or brand (optional), What do you need? (required), Where is the product now?, Budget, When do you need a factory sample?, Tell me about the product. Email subject: “Project enquiry from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Juno will reply by email within two working days with a few questions and a time for a first call.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Juno Hale
  • Hale Product Design
  • Brightwell Home
  • Loop Cycles
  • Oakline Office
  • Canal Works
  • Springfield
  • Keep a line-up in the order the models were made, all drawings at the same scale, and the M-codes matching that order; do not number projects.
  • Keep the material code (card, foam, print, rig, paint, sample) the same in drawings, legend and prices.
  • Use grid yellow only on the mat (grid, ruler, baseline), never for text on light backgrounds.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Portfolio

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Portfolio uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I draw my own line-ups?

Yes. Each model is an SVG drawing in the theme's images folder, shown with the normal Image widget; swap a drawing for your own (same width and height for one project) and edit the tag text under it in Elementor.

Is it only for industrial designers?

It suits anyone who shows work as a series of versions: product, furniture, packaging or lighting designers. The case study and service sections work with photos alone too.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Start a project pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Work and Services pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Portfolio. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Portfolio also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Portfolio Joomla docs.
