LT Optik is a theme for independent opticians and sunglasses shops, built with free Elementor: a home page that opens with a lit reading chart whose lines carry the practice's offer and hours, what happens in an eye test, glasses frames and sunglasses as a catalogue with frame measurements and example prices, lenses and coatings, the glazing workshop and repairs, questions, eye care notes and a visit section. Every frame has an 'Ask about this' link to a ready booking form. A Hello Elementor child theme with bundled fonts, one-page mode and a mobile menu.

- A reading chart as the hero: The home page opens with a lit chart in the dark test room; its lines, set at real chart sizes from 20/120 to 20/20, carry your offer and opening hours.
- Eye tests explained: What happens in a test step by step, what the numbers on the chart mean, how often to test, prices and what to bring.
- Frames and sunglasses catalogue: Collections and frame rows with the size printed in the arm (52□18 145), material, example price and an 'Ask about this' link to the booking form. No shop plugin needed.
- Lenses, workshop and repairs: Lens and coating price rows, glazing times and a repairs list for the workshop.
- Free Elementor and a ready booking form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Book an eye test or ask about a frame' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Optik options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Eye tests, Eye tests, Frames, Sunglasses, Lenses, Workshop, Questions, Notes, Visit. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.
Used the old LT Optik onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Book an eye test or ask about a frame on the Book and contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What can we help with (required), Preferred day and time, What do you wear now, Frame or item you are asking about (optional), Anything we should know. Email subject: “Booking request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We will reply by email or phone with a time, usually the same day we are open.”

- Keep chart lines short and in the chart's size order (largest first); acuity labels are real values, never section numbers.
- Do not promise outcomes ("perfect vision") or invent qualifications; health copy stays neutral.
- Keep coating green for marks on the dark band; never use it for text on light backgrounds.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Optik
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Optik uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
Can customers buy glasses online?
The theme is a catalogue, not a shop: each frame has an 'Ask about this' link to the booking form. Glasses need a prescription and a fitting, so most opticians prefer a visit or a reply.
Can I change the lines of the chart?
Yes. Each line is a normal Elementor heading: edit the words in the editor. Keep them short and largest first, so the chart still reads like one.
Will my site look like the demo?
Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free has the design, header and footer, the Our practice and Book and contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Eye tests and Frames pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
I have the old LT Optik. Is this an update?
It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.
