Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#time).

  • The timesheet on a legal pad: The home page opens with typical matters as rows on a yellow legal pad, each with its fee and its lawyer time drawn in six-minute units, shortest first.
  • Practice-area pages: Family law with divorce, custody and prenuptial pages, plus wills and estates, employment and property, each headed by the timesheet for that area.
  • How you charge, in plain sight: One hour drawn as ten units, rates per role, what is never charged, and a sample monthly statement on the Fees page.
  • From first call to engagement letter: Four numbered steps, a what-to-bring list and common questions, written without promises about outcomes.
  • Free Elementor and a ready consultation form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a consultation request form (including a conflict-check question) made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Practice areas → Family law (Divorce, Custody and parenting time, Prenuptial agreements), Wills and estates, Employment, Property and leases
  • Fees
  • About → Our lawyers
  • Legal notes
  • Contact → First consultation

Header button: Ask for a consultation (link /contact/#consultation), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Law options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Law options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Time and fees, Practice areas, How we charge, First steps, The lawyers, What to bring, Questions, Legal notes, Office. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Law onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Consultation request on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What is it about (required), Names of the other people involved, Is there a date coming up?, Briefly, what has happened. Email subject: “Consultation request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. We will check that we can act for you and reply within one working day with times for a 30-minute consultation.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • Sample client
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Hartwell Rowe Law
  • Hartwell Rowe
  • Springfield
  • Keep the timesheet rows in order of time, shortest first, and keep the unit blocks equal to the units written under each row (ten units per hour block).
  • Keep the yellow legal pad for the timesheet only; tinted sections stay carbon grey.
  • Do not promise outcomes, wins or settlements; describe the work, the time, the fee and the options.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Law

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Law uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I change the matters, times and fees?

Yes. Each timesheet row is ordinary Elementor widgets: edit the name, the fee and the units line, and set the hour blocks to match, or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

Does it work as a one-page site?

Yes. Turn on one-page mode in the Customizer and the menu scrolls to the home page sections; every edition includes it.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, practice areas, fees and sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Law. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Law also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Law Joomla docs.
