Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#welcome).

  • The house in section: The whole guesthouse drawn as a cutaway: every room on its floor, named by its paint, with the steps from the front door counted up the stair column and the step-free room ringed.
  • Room pages that show the climb: Each room page dims every other room in the house, then gives the floor, steps, bed, bathroom, what is in the room and the prices.
  • Honest booking: A plain three-step explanation and a room request form: guests ask, you reply with what is free and the price, and nothing is booked until they confirm. No fake booking engine.
  • Breakfast and house pages: A breakfast page with the menu and times, a diets page, house rules, a guide to the streets around you and a getting-here page.
  • Free Elementor and a ready request form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a room request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Rooms → Upstairs rooms (Bay room, Ochre room, Attic room), Garden room
  • Breakfast → Diets and allergies
  • The house → House rules, Around Quay Street
  • Journal
  • Book a room → Getting here

Header button: Ask for a room (link /contact/#request), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Hotel Booking options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Hotel Booking options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Welcome, Rooms, Breakfast, The house, How to book, Prices, Guest book, Journal, Find us, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Hotel Booking onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Room request on the Book a room page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Arrival date (required), Nights (required), Guests (required), Room (required), Good for us to know, Anything else. Email subject: “Room request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Ines or Owen will reply by email today with the rooms free on your dates and the price. Nothing is booked until you confirm.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Quayside House
  • Quay Street
  • Springfield
  • Sample guest
  • Use the house in section only for the real rooms of the house: one row per floor, top floor first, one cell per room, and keep the step counts true.
  • Keep geranium for the step-free ring and the room in focus; never use it for text on the dark bands.
  • Do not add a booking or payment flow: the room request form or a phone call books a room, and the copy says nothing is booked until the guest confirms.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Hotel Booking

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Hotel Booking uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can guests book and pay online?

The theme does not include a booking engine or payments. Guests send a room request with the form or call you, and you confirm the room yourself. If you use a channel manager or booking service, its link can go in any button.

How do I change the house for my guesthouse?

Each floor is a row in Elementor with a stair cell and one small container per room. Change the room names, the step counts and the paint class (lt-cell–garden, bay, linen, ochre, slate or attic); add or remove rooms and floors to match your house.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, The house and Book a room pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Rooms and Breakfast pages and their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Hotel Booking. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Hotel Booking also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Hotel Booking Joomla docs.
