Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#forum).

  • Passes as delegate badges: The home page opens with your conference's passes hanging from a badge rail, each with its price and a zone strip showing which rooms it opens.
  • Programme with room letters: Two days of sessions in plain rows: time, session, speaker and the letter of the room, matching the badge and the venue plan.
  • Tickets without a fake checkout: A price list with zone tiles, group and starter rates, and a three-step booking explanation. Requests go to the ticket form or the ticket desk phone.
  • Venue plan and access: A drawn plan of the venue with the same zone letters, travel, step-free access, hearing loops and a quiet room.
  • Event services for clients: Pages for the conferences, launches and award dinners you run for other organisations, with the steps of a project and example fees.
  • Free Elementor and a ready request form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a ticket and event enquiry form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • The Forum 2027 → Programme (Day one, Day two, Workshops), Speakers, Tickets, Venue
  • Event services → Conferences, Awards and dinners
  • About → Our team
  • News
  • Contact

Header button: Request tickets (link /contact/#request), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Event options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Event options and the menu scrolls to these sections: The Forum 2027, Programme, Speakers, Tickets, Venue, Event services, Last year, News, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Event onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Tickets and event enquiry on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Organisation (optional), What is this about (required), Pass, Number of people, Anything else. Email subject: “Ticket or event request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. The ticket desk replies by email within one working day with your booking details and an invoice. Event enquiries get a reply within two working days.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Harbourline
  • Corn Exchange
  • Wharf Street
  • Springfield
  • Keep the zone letters meaning the same five rooms everywhere: badges, programme rows, the venue plan and the zone key.
  • Keep the words under each zone strip equal to its solid tiles; never show a pass as opening a room it does not.
  • Use stage amber only on the dark band; do not add a checkout, countdown or 'only 3 left' claims: tickets are requested through the form or the ticket desk.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Event

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Event uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does it sell tickets online?

No. The passes, programme and prices are normal Elementor sections, and ticket requests come in through the WPForms Lite form or by phone. If you use a ticketing service, link the buttons to it.

Can I change the rooms and passes?

Yes. The zone letters, room names, passes and prices are text in Elementor: edit them in the editor, or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the forum and services pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Event. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Events also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Events Joomla docs.
