Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#plan).

Recent work#work

  • Services on an altitude tape: The home page opens with a vertical altitude tape from take-off to the 120 m ceiling, each service pinned at the height it is flown, with the ground detail it gives.
  • Service rows with real facts: Every service shows its flying height, what the client gets, how long it takes and a price, on the home page and the Services page.
  • Surveys and inspections: Survey deliverables with file formats, construction progress flights and roof inspection pages for drone businesses that do more than film.
  • Safety, permissions and prices: A safety band for licences, insurance, airspace and privacy, example price lists and a 'how a job runs' sequence.
  • Free Elementor and a ready quote form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Request a quote' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Services → Aerial filming (Property and estate agents, Events and venues, Commercials and TV), Surveys and mapping, Roof and building inspections
  • Prices
  • About → Pilots and kit, Safety and permissions
  • Flight notes
  • Contact

Header button: Request a quote (link #quote), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Drones options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Drones options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Flying heights, Services, Recent work, Surveys and mapping, How a job runs, Safety and permissions, Prices, Questions, Flight notes, Request a quote. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Drones onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Colours and fonts

Change them in Elementor Site Settings → Global Colors and Global Fonts; the whole site follows.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Request a quote on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What do you need? (required), Site address or postcode (required), Preferred date or deadline, Files you need, About the site and the job. Email subject: “Quote request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. A pilot will check the site and airspace and reply with a fixed price, usually within one working day.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Kestrel Aerial
  • Springfield
  • Keep the marks on the altitude tape at their real flying heights: the `lt-at-<metres>` class must match the altitude in the label, and nothing goes above the 120 m ceiling.
  • Do not promise survey accuracy, sales results or flights in all weather; flying depends on permissions and wind.
  • Keep caution amber for the ceiling line and marks on the brown band; never use it for text on light backgrounds.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Drones

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Drones uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Can I change the services and heights on the altitude tape?

Yes. Each pin is a normal Elementor row: change the name, the ground detail and the height class (lt-at-15 to lt-at-120) in the editor, or ask an AI assistant to do it with the AI kit's safe edit tool.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own aerial work.

Does it work as a one-page site?

Yes. Turn on one-page mode in the Customizer and the menu scrolls to the home page sections; every edition includes it.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Services and Prices pages, the service sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Drones. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Drones also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Drones Joomla docs.
