Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#set).

  • A styling sketch on the home page: The home page opens with this week's set drawn on a sideboard, each piece tied by its colour to a line with its height and price, and the price of the whole set.
  • Shop by kind of piece: Lighting, vases, soft furnishings, candles, mirrors and baskets as rows with height ranges and from-prices, plus pages for each range down to cushion, throw and rug sizes.
  • Heights on every piece: New pieces show a photo, height in centimetres, an Example price and an 'Ask about this' button that goes to the form.
  • Styling pages: A shelf-styling guide with three steps, a mantel sketch, shelf sets for a whole bookcase and a home styling visit page.
  • Free Elementor and a ready question form: Built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with an 'Ask about a piece' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Shop → Lighting, Vases and vessels, Soft furnishings (Cushions, Throws, Rugs)
  • Styling → Shelf sets, Home styling visit
  • The shop → Delivery and returns
  • Journal
  • Visit

Header button: Ask about a piece (link #ask), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Decor options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Decor options and the menu scrolls to these sections: This week's set, Shop by kind, New in, Styling a shelf, Home styling visit, Visit the shop, Delivery and collection, Questions, Journal, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Decor onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Ask about a piece on the Visit and contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone (optional), What is it about? (required), The piece, How would you like to get it?, Anything else. Email subject: “Question about a piece from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. Someone from the shop will reply by email, usually the same day we are open.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Wicker Lane Home
  • Wicker Lane
  • Springfield
  • Hart Road
  • Market Square
  • Draw a sketch only for a real group that is for sale; every drawn piece needs its line in the set list with height and price.
  • Keep saffron for the styling triangle and its dots; it never carries text on light backgrounds.
  • Number only the three styling steps; kinds of piece and pieces are not a sequence.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Decor

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Decor uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

Does it have a shopping cart?

No. LT Decor is a catalogue for a shop with a counter: pieces with heights and prices and an 'Ask about this' form to reserve, collect or arrange delivery. You can add a shop plugin later if you want online checkout.

Can I change the sketch on the home page?

Yes. The sketch is an image in the theme and the set list is normal Elementor text: change the pieces, heights and prices, or swap the drawing for one of the other sketches.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, the colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, The shop and Visit and contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, the Shop and Styling pages with their sub-pages, sample posts, demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Decor. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Decor also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Decor Joomla docs.
