Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#now).

Section (Navigator name)CSS ID
Now showing#now
Works#works
Artists#artists
Editions#editions
Exhibitions#exhibitions
Visit#visit
Talks and workshops#talks
Notes#notes
  • A series shown as its run: The home page opens with the current exhibition and every output of one generative series in run order, each named by its edition number and seed.
  • Works with proper labels: Each series has its drawing, artist, year, medium, format, edition and example price, with an 'Ask about this work' link to the enquiry form.
  • Editions explained plainly: Four steps from choosing an output to hanging it, what a screen edition or a plotter print includes, and a plain risk note wherever buying is described.
  • Artists and exhibitions: Artist rows, the show now on, the next one and an archive, plus talks and workshops with booking links.
  • Visit and enquiries: Opening hours, a street map, access notes and an 'Ask about a work' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin.
  • Free Elementor, nothing else: Built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor; fonts are bundled, so there are no Google Fonts requests. One-page mode included.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • Works → Editions (Screen editions, Plotter prints, Display and care)
  • Exhibitions → Now showing, Past exhibitions
  • About → Artists, Open call
  • Notes
  • Visit

Header button: Plan a visit (link #visit), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Chain options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Chain options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Now showing, Works, Artists, Editions, Exhibitions, Visit, Talks and workshops, Notes. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Chain onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Change them in Elementor Site Settings → Global Colors and Global Fonts; the whole site follows.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Ask about a work on the Visit page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), What is it about (required), Work and edition number, How would you show it, Your question, Privacy (required). Email subject: “Question about a work from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. The gallery desk will reply by email within two working days.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Render Room
  • Springfield
  • Foundry Lane
  • Mira Okon
  • Jonas Feld
  • Ada Reyes-Lind
  • Tomasz Wren
  • Never add token or floor prices, price charts, trading, minting or wallet buttons, returns or predictions, and never show marketplace, chain or coin logos; keep the risk line (`lt-risk`) wherever buying is described.
  • Keep one `is-wall` ring per run and keep seeds and edition numbers as identifiers; do not mark sold outputs on the run.
  • Coral never carries text; artworks must be the artists' own (no recognisable works by others in photos).

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Chain

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Chain uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme.

Does it include a marketplace, wallet or minting?

No. LT Chain is a gallery and artist site: it shows works, editions and exhibitions and sends questions to an enquiry form. There is no trading, no wallet connection and no token prices.

Can I show my own works as a run?

Yes. A run is a grid of images with an edition number and seed under each; duplicate a tile in Elementor, swap the image and change the caption.

Will my site look like the demo?

Yes, with Pro: Appearance > Demo import creates every page, colours, fonts, menu, header and footer. The sample drawings ship with the theme; demo photos are replaced by placeholders you swap for your own.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Visit pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, Works, Exhibitions and their sub-pages, sample posts, demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Chain. Is this an update?

It is version 2.0, rebuilt for free Elementor as a digital art gallery and artist theme. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Chain also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Chain Joomla docs.
