Home page sections

The home page sections, in order, with the name they have in Elementor’s Navigator and their CSS ID (the anchor used by one-page mode and by links such as /#visa-page).

Section (Navigator name)CSS ID
Visa page#visa-page
How to read a stamp#read-a-stamp
Destinations#destinations
From first meeting to arrival#steps

Advisers#advisers
Student notes#students

Call to action#book
  • The visa page: Each destination is an ink stamp with its intakes, work hours and usual visa time; rectangles for degrees, round stamps for other courses.
  • Destinations three levels deep: Destinations, country pages for the UK, Canada and Australia, and a page per UK study level with its own stamp and facts.
  • Costs and service prices: Tuition and living costs by country, and fixed service prices with example figures and an honest 'How we are paid' panel.
  • Steps to arrival, visas and scholarships: The months from first meeting to arrival, a visa document list and timeline, scholarship rows and a before-you-fly checklist.
  • Free Elementor and a meeting request form: Every page is built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a free meeting request form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

The demo import creates this main menu (Appearance → Menus):

  • Home
  • About → Our advisers
  • Destinations → United Kingdom (Foundation year, Undergraduate, Master's), Canada, Australia
  • Services → Visa support, Scholarships, Before you fly
  • Advice
  • Contact

Header button: Book a free meeting (link /contact/#request), changed in Appearance → Customize → LT Abroad options.

One-page mode (Pro)

With Pro Standard or Pro Unlimited, tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Abroad options and the menu scrolls to these sections: Visa page, How to read a stamp, Destinations, From first meeting to arrival, What our help costs, Advisers, Student notes, Advice, Visit the office, Call to action. To change the labels or leave sections out, see One-page mode.

Used the old LT Abroad onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. Install its Pro edition and turn on one-page mode.

Form

With WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Free meeting request on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), Phone or WhatsApp (optional), What would you like to study? (required), Countries you are thinking about, When would you like to start?, How would you like to meet?, Anything we should know first?. Email subject: “Free meeting request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. An adviser will email you within two working days to fix a time.”

See Contact form for where messages go and how to change the fields.

Demo content to replace

Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

  • (sample)
  • Example prices
  • example.com
  • (555)
  • Northgate
  • Springfield
  • Sample student
  • Keep every stamp true: a real destination or study level, rectangle for a degree course, round for a course that is not a degree, and its conditions marked (sample) until checked.
  • Never promise a visa, an offer or a success rate; keep the 'How we are paid' text honest and current.
  • Keep entry red off the dark cover band (it fails contrast there); use it on paper only.

Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

Photo guide

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Abroad

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. LT Abroad uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.

How do I change a stamp?

Each stamp is a small Elementor container with three text widgets: the country code, the name and the conditions. Change its ink with a class such as lt-ink–green, and its shape with lt-stamp–rect or lt-stamp–round.

Can I add more destinations?

Yes. Duplicate a stamp on the visa page and a row in the destinations list, then duplicate a country page for the new country.

Does it work as a one-page site?

Yes. Turn on one-page mode in the Customizer and the menu scrolls to the home page sections; every edition includes it.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free has the design, header and footer, the About and Contact pages and the blog. Pro adds the home page, destinations, country and study-level pages, services and their sub-pages, sample posts, one-click demo import, credit removal, updates and support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.

I have the old LT Abroad. Is this an update?

It is a new version 2.0 with a new design, built for free Elementor. Your current site keeps working; install 2.0 on a new site or a staging copy and import the demo there.

Also for Joomla

LT Abroad also exists as a Joomla template: see the LT Abroad Joomla docs.
