Quick setup
- Install the free Elementor plugin and the Hello Elementor theme, then upload and activate LT Regadget (Install and update).
- Pro, optional: activate WPForms Lite for the tip and review request form.

- Replace the demo content and pictures (below), set your logo and the header button.

- The same design as the Joomla template: LT Regadget is also a Joomla template; this WordPress version keeps its navy masthead, mustard desk markers, grey Most read rail and big photo cards, rebuilt for free Elementor.
- Lead stories on the picture: Top stories open as big rounded photo cards with the desk, headline and date set on the photo, followed by a row of story cards.
- Desks readers can follow: Computers, smartphones, headphones (with earbuds, over-ear and speakers) and drones, each with its own page, editor notes and latest posts; a mustard tab marks the desk on every story.
- Rankings that mean something: A Most read rail and a Trending now row with real rank numbers, plus a dark Our picks band with square thumbnails.
- Free Elementor and a ready request form: Built with free Elementor widgets on Hello Elementor, with a 'Tip and review request' form made with the free WPForms Lite plugin. Fonts are bundled: no Google Fonts requests.

One-page mode
In every edition the menu can scroll to these sections: Top stories, Newsletter, Latest, Send a tip, Drones, Trending now, How we test, Our picks. Free: Appearance → One-page import creates the one-page website with them. Pro: tick One-page mode on the home page in Appearance → Customize → LT Regadget options. Used the old LT Regadget onepage WordPress theme? It is not sold any more: version 2.0 is one theme for both. The Free edition imports the one-page website; Pro adds the full multi-page website.

Form
Pro: with WPForms Lite active, the demo import creates the form Tip and review request on the Contact page. Fields: Your name (required), Email (required), What is it about? (required), Which desk?, Company or publication (optional), Your message (required), Credit. Email subject: “Tip or review request from the website”. After sending, visitors see: “Thank you. An editor reads every message; if we follow it up we reply by email within two working days.”

Demo content to replace
Everything marked with one of these in the demo is sample content: names, numbers, prices and addresses that you replace with your own (or delete):

- Keep mustard for desks only: a section title that spans the magazine (Latest, Trending) keeps the navy bar, and headings like How we test get no bar.
- Use rank numbers only for real rankings (Most read, Trending now), never to decorate a list.
- Do not name real brands or models in sample stories, and do not present scores or test results as real until they are yours.
Only publish facts that are true for your business: real prices, opening hours, reviews and qualifications. Pro Unlimited’s launch checker lists every sample marker left on the site.

The demo uses placeholder pictures. Replace each one in Elementor (click it → Choose image) with a photo of about this size; save photos as JPEG or WebP under about 300 KB.

Questions about LT Regadget
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. LT Regadget uses only the free Elementor plugin and the free Hello Elementor theme. The header and footer are part of the theme, so you do not need Theme Builder.
Does it work as a one-page site?
Yes, in every edition. Free imports the one-page website: the Home page sections on one scrolling page, with a menu that scrolls to them and highlights the current section. Pro imports the full multi-page website, and one-page mode is a switch in the Customizer (or the "One-page (scroll menu)" page template).
Is there a Joomla version of LT Regadget?
Yes. LT Regadget is also a Joomla template on ltheme.com with the same design. The WordPress version is a separate product, built for free Elementor.
Do the story cards update by themselves?
The Latest stories list and the desk pages show your newest posts automatically. The lead cards, rows and rankings are Elementor widgets you point at your best stories, like a front-page editor would.
How do I add a desk?
Duplicate a desk page, give your posts a category with the same name and change the desk label: the mustard tab follows the label. The AI kit's AGENTS.md lists every class, so an AI assistant can do it too.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free: theme + one-page website import (the Home page sections on one scrolling page with a scroll menu, imported in one click); the footer credit stays, and help comes from the AI assistant and the contact form. Pro: full multi-page website like the demo: all 14 pages, sample posts and one-click demo import, one-page mode too, credit removal (put your own copyright there), updates and ticket support. Pro Unlimited adds the AI kit.
