  14. Questions about LT Tonal

LT Tonal is a WooCommerce block theme for shops that sell mobile presets, desktop presets and .cube LUT packs as instant downloads. It comes with a before / after hero, format chips, pack cards with a filmstrip, a colour-grade finder, a file list, a three-tier licence table and install steps, all built on WooCommerce's own blocks for the shop, product, cart and checkout pages. Pro Unlimited adds an AI kit so an assistant can rebrand the store and write your pack pages without breaking the design.

  • 15 products (5 variable, with options, 15 virtual and downloadable, 4 on sale)
  • 5 product categories: Mobile presets, Desktop presets, Video LUTs, Black & white, Bundles
  • 6 pages: Home, Shop, Licences & downloads, About, Contact, Downloads & FAQ (WooCommerce’s own Cart, Checkout and My account pages are used as they are)
  • The main menu: Shop, Licences, About, Help, Contact
  • The style Darkroom, the site title and tagline and the announcement bar text

Existing content is never changed: anything whose address is already taken is skipped. Prices are marked “Example prices”.

Store-type notes: Digital downloads

  • The demo products are virtual and downloadable (no shipping), with sample download limits and expiry. The demo has no download files: for each product, add your own file in Product data → Downloadable files before you sell it.
  • Customers find their files on the order confirmation page, in the order email and in My account → Downloads.
  • The licence comparison in the demo shows sample terms: write your own licence (it is not legal advice).

AI kit (Pro Unlimited)

With Pro Unlimited, an AI assistant can read the theme's rules and rebrand Tonal, write pack descriptions with formats and licences, and update the licence table and grade finder without breaking the blocks. On a live site it can also import the demo, switch styles and draft landing pages through WordPress Abilities.

Example prompt: Set up this LT Tonal store for my preset shop "Northlight Grades" (sample). Packs: Fjord Blue (10 looks, .xmp + .dng), Ember Dusk (8 looks, .xmp + .dng) and Quiet Road LUTs (6 LUTs, .cube). Licences: Personal $20, Commercial $45, Studio $110. Email: [email protected]. Use the Slate style with my brand colour #FF9F5A, rewrite the homepage and the licence table, and mark anything I have not confirmed as sample.

See AI kit for the files, the prompts and the Abilities.

Before you go live

Everything in the demo is sample content: products, prices, specs, reviews, addresses and opening times. Replace it with your own, or delete it, and follow the going-live checklist. Pro Unlimited: python3 tools/check-theme.py --launch in the theme folder lists every sample left.

Demo photos

The live demo of LT Tonal shows real photos; the theme uses its own illustrations and placeholders. The photos are from Pexels, free to use under the Pexels licence (credit is not required, but we thank the photographers):

Questions about LT Tonal

Does LT Tonal handle downloadable products?

Yes. The demo products are virtual and downloadable WooCommerce products. You attach your own preset and LUT files in Product data → Downloadable files, and WooCommerce sends the download links after checkout.

How do the before / after previews work?

Each frame shows one photo split in the middle: the left half comes from the version without the look and the right half from the version with it. You upload two exports of the same photo and the theme does the rest.

Can I sell licences at different prices?

Yes. Make a pack a variable product with a Licence attribute (for example Personal, Commercial and Studio) and give each variation its own price and files.

Does the theme say which editing apps my presets work with?

The theme describes compatibility by file format, such as .xmp, .dng and .cube. You can add app names yourself once you have tested your files in them.

Is the colour-grade finder interactive?

It is a static guide: three kinds of light by three moods, each cell linking to a pack. It needs no plugin or script, and you edit the picks in the block editor.

Can I use it for other digital files?

Yes. The format chips, file list, licence table and instant download sections suit any download shop, such as textures, overlays or templates.
