LT Leaven is a WooCommerce block theme for shops that sell sourdough, pastry and celebration-cake e-books, recorded baking classes and printable recipe cards as instant downloads. It comes with an open-book hero, format chips, preview spreads, a book covers grid, a class curriculum, a personal / teaching licence table and a baker's schedule, all built on WooCommerce's own blocks for the shop, product, cart and checkout pages. Pro Unlimited adds an AI kit so an assistant can rebrand the store and write your book and class pages without breaking the design.

Quick setup
- Install and activate WooCommerce, then upload and activate LT Leaven (Install the theme).
- Pro: Appearance → Demo import → Import (Demo import), then add your licence key in Appearance → Licence.
- Free: build the pages with the theme’s patterns and page layouts (below).
- Pick a colour style in Appearance → Editor → Styles, set your logo and menu.
- Replace the sample content and go live (Going live).
What the demo import adds (Pro)
Appearance → Demo import shows one demo, Leaven: A warm, flour-dusted shop for baking e-books and recorded classes: a book-stack hero, format chips, preview spreads, a book covers grid, a class curriculum, a baker's schedule, two licences and instant download. It adds:
- 16 products (5 variable, with options, 16 virtual and downloadable, 5 on sale)
- 6 product categories: Sourdough, Pastry, Celebration cakes, Video classes, Recipe cards, Bundles
- 6 pages: Home, Shop, Licences & downloads, About, Contact, Downloads & FAQ (WooCommerce’s own Cart, Checkout and My account pages are used as they are)

Existing content is never changed: anything whose address is already taken is skipped. Prices are marked “Example prices”.

Store-type notes: Digital downloads
- The demo products are virtual and downloadable (no shipping), with sample download limits and expiry. The demo has no download files: for each product, add your own file in Product data → Downloadable files before you sell it.
- Customers find their files on the order confirmation page, in the order email and in My account → Downloads.
- The licence comparison in the demo shows sample terms: write your own licence (it is not legal advice).
AI kit (Pro Unlimited)
With Pro Unlimited, an AI assistant can read the theme's rules and rebrand Leaven, write book and class pages with formats, page counts and licences, and update the curriculum, schedule and licence table without breaking the blocks. On a live site it can also import the demo, switch styles and draft landing pages through WordPress Abilities.

Before you go live
Everything in the demo is sample content: products, prices, specs, reviews, addresses and opening times. Replace it with your own, or delete it, and follow the going-live checklist. Pro Unlimited: python3 tools/check-theme.py --launch in the theme folder lists every sample left.

Can LT Leaven sell e-books and video classes in the same shop?
Yes. The demo products are virtual and downloadable WooCommerce products: e-books with PDF and ePub files, classes with MP4 lessons and PDF notes, and printable recipe cards. You attach your own files in Product data → Downloadable files.
Can I offer a book in more than one format?
Yes. Make the book a variable product with a Format attribute (for example PDF, ePub and PDF + ePub) and give each variation its own price and files, as the demo does.
Can I give away a free sample chapter?
Yes. The demo has a free downloadable product at a price of zero, and the header's Free sample link points to it. Customers check out without paying and get the download link.
Does the theme make nutrition or allergen claims?
No. Recipe products carry an allergen placeholder line for you to fill in from your own recipes, and the theme copy avoids nutrition and health claims.
Are the book covers and preview pages included?
The theme ships illustrated sample covers and spreads so the layout looks complete. Replace them with your own covers and real pages from your books.
Can I use it for other cooking downloads?
