The upload fails or stops
The file may be bigger than your host allows. Ask your host to raise upload_max_filesize and post_max_size, or upload the unzipped folder by FTP and use System → Install → Extensions → Install from Folder. Also check you are uploading the template package, not the outer download that contains several packages.
The site looks unstyled after installing
The template needs the Helix Ultimate framework. Install the framework package from the download, then make sure the template’s style is the default in System → Site Template Styles. Clear Joomla’s cache (System → Clear Cache) and your browser cache.
The main menu does not show
Choose your menu in Template Options → Menu. See Menus.
A module does not show
Check its Status (Published), Position and Menu Assignment, and that its access level is Public.
The contact form does not send
Check the form’s email settings in Convert Forms (Contact form). Also check System → Global Configuration → Server → Mail Settings and send a test mail from there.
A page shows “404” after moving the site
Check System → Global Configuration → SEO: if Use URL Rewriting is on, rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess on the server.
