Requirements

The templates need:

Rebuilt templates (151)
JoomlaJoomla 6 (latest version)
PHPPHP 8.3 or newer
DatabaseMySQL 8.0.13 or newer, or MariaDB 10.4 or newer
Template frameworkHelix Ultimate 2.2.x (free)
Page builderSP Page Builder 6 Lite (free)
Other extensionsConvert Forms Free; Smart Slider 3 Free where the design uses one; SP Simple Portfolio and SP Easy Image Gallery (free); Custom HTML and core Joomla modules (Menu, Articles)
Shop templatesProduct catalogue with example prices; each product links to the contact form. A full shop with HikaShop is planned for a later version.

The other 0 templates are not rebuilt yet: a rebuilt Joomla 6 version of each is coming. Until then their download is the current package.

For local testing: a local server such as XAMPP, MAMP or Laragon.

Download

  • Open the template’s page on ltheme.com (each template’s docs link to it). Free editions download after you enter your email address; the Free download holds the template package and the one-page quickstart.
  • Pro editions: download from your account. They hold the template package and the quickstart package.
  • You get a .zip. Some downloads hold several packages (template, quickstart, extensions): unzip that outer file once to see them.

Install the template package

  1. Sign in to your Joomla administrator (yoursite.com/administrator).
  2. Go to System → Install → Extensions.
  3. Drag the template package (.zip) onto Upload Package File, or click Or browse for file.
  4. Wait for Installation of the template was successful.
  5. If the Helix Ultimate framework is not installed on the site yet, install its package the same way first (it is in the download).

Make it the default template

  1. Go to System → Site Template Styles.
  2. Click the star next to the template’s style (it is named after the template, ending in – Default) to make it the default.
  3. Open the site: your content now shows in the new template.

A template package adds the design only. Menus, modules and pages like the demo come with the quickstart package; with the template package you build them yourself (see the guides in the menu).
